(she, her, hers)
Marina is an experienced qualitative researcher with nearly a decade in the nonprofit legal services sector. Before joining WORC, she launched and managed statewide programs aimed at improving access to immigration legal services across Illinois. She first connected with WORC through a collaborative research project focused on improving recruitment and reducing turnover in Illinois' immigrant services sector, and now supports the team with qualitative analysis and background research.
Marina holds a Master of Research from the University of Glasgow, where she was a Fulbright Scholar. In her free time, she teaches yoga and mindfulness throughout Chicago and, fittingly, offering workplace yoga to stressed out employees is her favorite format to teach.
